21st February is the "International Mother-Language Day" of Bangladesh.
This image is the symbol of Shohid-Minar. The event was held on 1952 at East Bangla of United Pakistan which was released from them by liberation-war on 1971.
This symbol is situated at Dhaka University area beside Dhaka Medical College main gate. Every 21st February is government holiday. All Bangladeshi people respect and celebrate the day by giving serious flowers under the stairs of the symbol.
